Built from real ownership, not theory

Home Box Lab was founded by a restaurateur and hospitality entrepreneur with over 13 years of hands-on experience building and running restaurant businesses from the ground up.

Before moving into consulting, our founder operated several successful restaurant concepts in Kyiv, Ukraine — managing everything from construction and kitchen design to team recruitment and daily operations. After exiting the business in 2022, that operational depth was channelled into consulting, helping other founders and investors avoid the mistakes that only owners truly understand.

Today, Home Box Lab works with around ten active projects across concept creation, pre-opening management, and ongoing operational advisory — remotely and across markets.

First restaurant opened — Kyiv, Ukraine. Full build-out from zero.

Scaled to multiple concepts — city café, delivery kitchen, catering formats.

Urban Bistro — Full Concept & Launch
Developed the full restaurant concept from scratch for a 120-seat urban bistro in central Kyiv — positioning, menu architecture, interior brief, and staff structure. Guided the client from empty space to opening day in 6 months.
